Was listening to the SETI podcast and they had Dr. Irene Pepperberg on. It was amazing! For the past 30 years she has been studying intelligence in African Grey parrots. She has trained the birds to not just repeat what is said to them, but to understand what’s being said. Here is a video on youtube about Alex.
